Privacy Policy

AutoPublica connects only to accounts that you authorize through each platform’s official consent screen. We do not request or receive your social account password.

Information we process

We process license and device identifiers to confirm access to the software; social account, channel, Page, and professional-account identifiers; OAuth access and refresh tokens; publication metadata and status; technical request data; and media you select for publication.

How information is used

We use this information to authenticate licensed software, complete account connections, refresh authorization, publish content selected or scheduled by you, display publishing status, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, and protect the service.

Storage and transfers

Social OAuth tokens are returned once to and stored by the AutoPublica desktop application on your computer. Short-lived OAuth results are encrypted in our database until consumed once or expired. Images submitted for Instagram publication may be stored temporarily on our server so Instagram can retrieve them; they are deleted after processing where possible and by expiry cleanup. Videos and other large media are transmitted from your computer directly to the relevant platform API.

Services and recipients

Information is exchanged with Meta/Facebook/Instagram, Google/YouTube, TikTok, our website hosting provider, and the AutoPublica licensing service only as needed to provide and secure the requested functions. Each platform processes information under its own terms and privacy policy.

Retention

OAuth transactions expire after approximately ten minutes. Temporary images expire after approximately fifteen minutes. Security rate-limit records are short-lived. Tokens stored on your computer remain until you disconnect, clear application data, or remove the software, subject to platform revocation.

Your choices

You may disconnect an integration in AutoPublica and revoke access from the connected-app settings of the relevant platform. See our Data Deletion Instructions. To request help regarding data associated with your license, email support@scentsontop.com. Never email a password or access token.

Security

We use HTTPS, short-lived one-time transactions, hashed authorization credentials, restricted server storage, and server-side protection of provider client secrets. No system is completely secure, and you are responsible for securing your computer and license credentials.

Children

AutoPublica is a business-oriented publishing tool and is not directed to children.

Changes

We may update this policy as the service or platform requirements change. The current version is published at this URL.
